Song of Colors

I laugh blue

since I always lived close to the sea.

I cry red

because I witnessed three wars.

I see gray

all the houses built of concrete

and no one painted them.

I walk green

everywhere there are trees.

I remember pink

strong women fight cancer.

I sing dreams

because my throat is full of colors.
